Fundamental classes start September 16th
I am so excited for the line up of projects lined up for this years Art Fundamental Classes. Each month we focus on learning and exploring a variety of materials and skills. The goal is, that if you attend class for the full school year, you will try a vast mix of materials and styles.
Of course there is a strong focus on drawing, fine motor skills, painting, sculpting and designing. We also explore a multitude of materials, giving the artist a chance to explore their own artistic journey.

Art Fundamentals Introduction Age 5+
Tuesdays 5pm (1 hour)
The Fall and Holiday season is all about learning to draw, how to use materials like Posca Paint Pens, watercolour, oil pastels, acrylic painting, clay & ink. We will also be creating lots of personalized keepsakes.

Art Fundamentals 1 Age 8+
Wednesdays 5pm (1.5 hours)
Start the school year off with still life and some drawing basics. Which flows right into Inktober. Where we explore all the amazing uses for ink. Learn how to use a nib pen and create a personal Illustration. Plus leading into the holiday season, create personalized ornaments, paint a landscape and create your own gift tags.
Art Fundamentals 2 Age 13+
Learn how to draw from a photograph. Starting with drawing basics such as pencil control, perspective, proportions, shading, sketching and composition. We will then take these skills into Inktober. Creating a personal piece using artist pens and ink. November we will be printing our own Holiday cards. Then exploring air dry clay.
Art Fundamentals 3 Age 15+
We will be working with alcohol markers, coloured pencils and Posca pens to create a personal illustration. We will then move into a ink piece using a variety of applications. For the holiday season, paint a series of small canvases great for gift giving and we will be creating ornaments and gifts using resin art.
